Ashlyn Bellamy Ashlyn Bellamy 6'1" | OH Lee's Summit | 2023 State MO / 6-0 / OH / Mavs 816 16-1 / Lee’s Summit High School
Bellamy had an absolute breakout year during the high school season and has no plans to slow down now. The physical 6-0 pin is a scoring machine. She has many options to go to in her shot selection. As a primary front-row player currently, she will continue to grow into a 6 rotation player as she has displayed the athleticism do so so. She is sound in the blocking category and does a good job of slowing down balls with impactful touches.
Emma Blaine Emma Blaine 6'0" | MB St. Dominic | 2023 State MO / 6-0 / RS / HPSTL 16 Royal / St. Dominic
We’ve only caught a little video of Blaine this club season and have become really impressed with her play from the right pin. She has a tremendous cut shot that hits inside the line every single time. She is athletic and transitions well off the net. Her length is to her advantage as she gets a high contact point on the ball. She is technically sound as a blocker and does a great job of pressing her hands over the net.
Briana Wortman / 5-10 / OH-DS / HPSTL 16 Royal / Francis Howell North
Wortman can take over a match when she gets in a groove. She is a scorer by nature and uses her many shots to get a point. She is an effective passer in serve/receive and solid defensively. As a 6 rotation player, we really like her lateral movement along the back row. She anticipates well to put herself in a position to make a play. She is a leader on the court.
Emma Fairchild / 5-10 / OH-RS / Rockwood Thunder 16 Elite / Westminster Christian Academy
Fairchild made the move over to Rockwood, after having spent the previous year at rival HPSTL. We haven’t seen much film on her this club season but she is one we’ve been looking forward to seeing in action. We like her versatility and ability to play on both pins. At 5-10, she has good length and uses it well. She is good at the net defensively and another play who will grow with experience as a defender.
Jordyn Lochmann Jordyn Lochmann 6'0" | OH Lafayette | 2023 State MO / 6-0 / OH / Rockwood Thunder 16 Elite / Lafayette
The 6-0 Lochmann is a player who is the prototype pin hitter. She has good height, a fast and powerful arm-swing, and an asset as a blocker. She is a smart attacker and takes advantage of what the defense gives her. If the line is there, she takes it. If cross-corner is available, she nails it. Her passing is pinpoint and her defense from the back row has continued to improve, where she can be labeled as a true six rotation player. Her topspin serve is another part of her game we enjoy watching.
