2021 Daley McClellan Daley McClellan 5'11" | OH Canby | 2021 State OR , 5’11”, OH, Canby High School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy, University of Oregon
McClellan had a phenomenal week two performance with the Canby High School Cougars. With the Cougars competing in two intense matches last week against West Linn and Lake Oswego, they put McClellen to work. She hit a .417 on the week, with 163 swings, 84 kills, and only 16 errors. She also totaled 8 service aces and had a 2.2 passing percentage. The Cougars are currently 3-1.
2021 Caitlin Gay Caitlin Gay 5'7" | DS/L Canby | 2021 State OR , 5’7”, DS, Canby High School, University of Idaho
The Libero turned all-around outside hitter for the Canby High School Cougars, Gay is an unstoppable force. Against West Linn, she totaled 15 kills and passed a 2.4 passing percentage. Against Lake Oswego, she had 26 swings, 8 kills and zero errors, hitting a .308. In that match, she also had 9 digs with a 2.4 passing percentage. The Cougars are currently 3-1.
2021 Kendall Baldwin Kendall Baldwin 5'11" | MB Lakeridge | 2021 State OR , 5’11”, MB/OH, Lakeridge High School, Athena Volleyball Academy
Baldwin is the lone senior on the Lakeridge High School Pacers varsity squad and is bringing her athleticism and leadership to the team. Versus St. Mary’s Academy, she racked up 19 kills, hitting .500 on the night, with 3 blocks in the middle. The Pacers are currently 2-3.
2022 Marlie Wear Marlie Wear 5'5" | DS/L Lakeridge | 2022 OR , 5’5″, DS, Lakeridge High School, Athena Volleyball Academy
Wear is taking over the reins from older sister Maicy and suiting up as the Lakeridge High School Pacers starting libero. In their match versus St. Mary’s Academy, she led the team in digs with 26 for the match. The Pacers are currently 2-3.
2022 Marley Hardgrave Marley Hardgrave 6'3" | MB Bend | 2022 State OR , 6’3″, MB, Bend High School, North Pacific Juniors
Hardgrave is an unstoppable force in the middle for the Bend High School Lava Bears. Last week alone she totaled 26 kills and 11 blocks for the team. She is averaging a .425 kill percentage for the season. They also look to her for a killer serve, she is the ace leader on the team. The Lava Bears are currently 4-1.
2023 Mia Starr Mia Starr 5'10" | S Central Catholic | 2023 State #176 Nation OR , 5’8″, S/OH, Central Catholic High School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy
After graduating eight seniors, the Central Catholic High School Rams looked to Starr as one of six returners. From playing a few points off the bench last season to playing all around this season, she is a multifaceted force. Last week she racked up 26 assists, 23 digs, 14 kills (hitting a .306), and 3 blocks. Running a 6-2 alongside Lauren Stemple Lauren Stemple 5'7" | S Central Catholic | 2022 OR , she attacks on both the outside and right side when in the front row. The Rams are currently 4-0.
2022 Elliott Bush Elliott Bush 5'8" | OH Central Catholic | 2022 OR , 5’8″, OH, Central Catholic High School, Athena Volleyball Academy
Although Bush was a six rotation outside hitter last season, she is truly a different player this year. A much more dynamic defender and explosive attacker, she is an unstoppable force this season. The junior captain racked up 20 kills, hitting a .367, 4 aces, and 11 digs, last week. She is leading the Rams in service disruptions and kills. The Rams are currently 4-0.
2021 Makenah Jackson Makenah Jackson 6'2" | MB Central Catholic | 2021 State OR , 6’2″, MB, Central Catholic High School, North Pacific Juniors, University of Idaho
As one of two seniors on the Central Catholic High School Rams team, she is a go-to attacker and solid blocker for the team. Last week she totaled 18 kills, hitting a .361, and 6 blocks. With a high court IQ, she has a sneaky but well-placed tip, contributing to her kills. The Rams are currently 4-0.
2021 Audra Wilmes Audra Wilmes 6'2" | OH West Linn | 2021 State OR , 6’2″, OH, West Linn High School, North Pacific Juniors, University of Washington
Wilmes, a six rotation outside hitter and University of Washington commit, had another stellar week for the West Linn High School Lions. Versus Canby, in which the Lions came out on top in an exciting five-set match, Wilmes hit a .488 with 22 kills and only 1 error. Versus Lakeridge, she walked away with 15 kills, hitting a .400. In both matches, she had a 2.4 passing percentage. The Lions are currently 4-0.
2022 Emily Warmenhoven Emily Warmenhoven 5'10" | OH West Linn | 2022 State OR , 5’10”, OH, West Linn High School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy, Belmont University
Warmenhoven is a six rotation standout outside hitter for the West Linn High School Lions. Versus Canby she racked up 26 kills, hitting a .309, and had 4 service aces. Versus Lakeridge she racked up 8 kills, hitting a .438. The Lions are currently 4-0.
2022 Atalie Leder, 5’5”, S, Canby High School, Capital City Elite
With the setters position up for grabs with Ruby Kayser off to Colorado State, the Canby High School Cougars looked to junior Leder. In last week’s matches alone she totaled up 103 assists, 63 assists versus West Linn and 40 versus Lake Oswego. The Cougars are currently 3-1.
2022 Nashea Wilson, 5’9”, OH/S, Jefferson High School
Junior Wilson is making an impact for the Jefferson High School Democrats, currently on the school’s leaderboard for the most blocks ever both in an athlete’s high school career and on the season. Last week she racked up 9 kills, 25 digs, and 3 aces. Setting a 5-1 for the Democrats, she also racked up 26 assists. The Democrats are currently 1-2.
2022 Elizabeth McCall, 5’1”, DS, Jefferson High School
The Jefferson High School Democrats are looking to junior McCall to lead the back row as their starting libero. Last week alone she racked up 30 digs, 4 aces, and even had 5 kills. With a killer float serve and an all-out-mentality, the Democrats’ back row is in good hands. The Democrats are currently 1-2.
