Week two for Virginia Beach has teams starting to heat up in the abbreviated Spring High School season for the VHSL and VISAA. For many players, it's a great chance to take steps towards our old life. Some teams are firing on all cylinders while others are feeling out new lineups and positions. The race to the state championships is right around the corner. Here are some of the top performances from the week:

Maury High had a great week with dual sweeps of Norcom and Norview. Cooper Chiles led the offense with 21 kills and 5 aces on the week in the two wins. Matt Phillips put down 5 kills against Norcom. Phillips, Chiles and Hayden Lynch combined on 31 service aces  in the Norcom sweep. Michael Graham put down 5 kills and added 2 aces, while Beckett Pate dropped 8 kills against Norview.
