One of the primary pin attackers for a very good TSE 15 Blue squad, Adkins is a savvy hitter as she can score with power, range and arm control, or with finesse in off speed game. She has good length at the top of her jump to challenge the block high or go over smaller defenders. Increasing foot and arm speed with make her extremely dangerous. She has good skill foundation to play six-rotations that positions her well among the top left sides in this class.
Juliette Chandler – 6’0 | MH | CVC 15 Black
Chandler is an athlete that should be on the recruiting radar. She is athletic and has good quickness that involves lift and arm control to be able to score well from the middle when on time and balance in the air. She started in the middle for a good St. Joseph’s team in 2020 and contributed well on both sides of the ball. Keep an eye on her as she continues to develop and gain experience over her prep career.
Taryn DeWese – 6’0 | OH/S | TVC 15 Black
DeWese is one of the better two-way athletes in this class as she has skills as a setter to distribute the offense and a fast arm that can swing for points. She contributes in a variety of ways with an athletic foundation behind it all that should continue to grow her as an upper-level prospect in this class. She was a NBC first-team selection and DIII second-team all-district honoree.
Kaylee Musick – 6’0 | S | Mintonette M.51
Musick continues to emerge as one of the top setters in this class with elite potential. Her size is a big bonus in this role given the presence she can create when in the front row. She has a simple quality to her play that is fundamentally sound in her pursuit of the ball and delivery through all options in her offense. She has this team competing well as they have earned 11th and 13th at Bluegrass and MEQ respectively.
Grace Thomas – 6’1 | MH | Mintonette M.51
Thomas is very reliable in the middle for this team that has offensive balance and high point-production potential. She is confident and most effective offensively overhead off one foot through varied attack points that direction. When on time and tempo she can generate good power and gets good lift off the single-foot drive. She has good eyework and patience blocking and does a good job of disrupting attackers when she can get up with her hands across the net.
