Class 2A featured several juniors who amassed big kill numbers.

All five of these student-athletes will be heading into their senior seasons next fall and are members of the 2022 recruiting class.

MH, Lauren Schutter Lauren Schutter 6'2" | MB Wabaunsee | 2022 State KS 6’1”, Wabaunsee  – Schutter finished her junior season with 438 kills and 179 blocks She is tall, can jump, hits hard, and knows how and when to utilize a tip. Big 12 coaches and other DI volleyball scouts better start getting in line to recruit Schutter. The Wabaunsee junior plays club ball with KC Power.

OH, Halle Rutschman,  5’9”, Herington – Rutschman is a two-sport star for the Railroaders. She finished her 2020 high school season with 223 kills to rank among Class 2A leaders. She also finished with 416 aces. She will likely be recruited to play college basketball and volleyball.
