We’re only a week into the 2021 Season for girls volleyball and there are already a number of standouts from the class of 2024. Feast your eyes on these ferocious freshmen.

For Kent Place, freshman setter Margeaux Morial brought it home with 20 assists in her very first high school volleyball match to support fellow freshmen outside Lauren Osuala’s 12 kills. Osuala is already a clear first-option hitter as she leads the team in 19 total kills over two matches. She is clearly strong all the way around with 5 blocks, 13 digs, and 6 aces. Morial has also impressed with 37 assists over two games.

Freshman 6’1” middle blocker Taylor Miller puts up a huge block for Demarest this season. In the first 3 games, she has already totaled 11 blocks and 9 kills. She’s clearly not a timid middle and will only continue to excel as she gains more experience.

Mia Gonzales of Bergenfield has taken the court by storm this season. As an outside, she has totaled 15 kills and 3 aces over 3 matches, placing her solidly as the kill
