There are always more athletes to be covered.  We miss players, I still go to tournaments and think, “How have I not seen them play yet?”.  Thats why we keep on going!  The Badger Region 17s was no different as more new names popped up as well as familiar names we’ve seen over the past couple of years from the Wisconsin high school and club volleyball scene.  For some of these athletes, its been quite a month pulling double duty of club and the alternate high school season. Here are a few new names, along with some familiar ones to know from the Class of 2022 at the Badger Region Championships. 


Chloe Werner - Sting Burlington United - 17 Orange

When a right side can take over a match, that says something.  That was Chloe Werner in a pool play match where she brings a thunderous swing.  She provides solid hand contact, is fast to the ball, and violent with her arm swing, aggressive.  Scoring points at key times, for a team who plays with plenty of spark and fire, Werner is one who can always be an outlet for the right side which can
