GRADUATED:
Mia Trotter (L)
Trotter played in all 88 sets for the Trojans last season. She contributed 8 assists, 3 kills, 3.1 DPS, and 10 service aces with an 87.6% serve efficiency.
Alyssa Derby (OH)
Derby played in all 88 sets for the Trojans last season as well. She contributed 7 assists, a team-high 1.9 KPS, a team-high 51 total blocks, and 22 service aces with an 80.0% serve efficiency.
Haley Rasmussen (S)
Rasmussen played in all 88 sets as well for the Trojans in 2020. She had a team-high 4.4 APS, 76 kills, 12 total blocks, 1.3 DPS, and a team-high 34 service aces with an 87.2% serve efficiency.
Caroline Pellett (OH)
Pellett played in every set last fall as well. She had 2 assists, 81 kills, 12 total blocks, 2.0 DPS, and 14 service aces with an 89.4% serve efficiency.
Maycie Waters (RS)
Waters played in every set last fall for the Trojans and contributed 11 assists, 49 kills, 3 total blocks, 32 digs, and 9 service aces with a 92.4% serve efficiency.
That is five seniors being lost due to graduation for the Trojans. This will definitely be a rebuilding year for them so let’s see who is left on the roster to take these seniors’ place this fall.
RETURNING PLAYERS:
Abby Smith (2023, OH)
Smith played in all 88 sets last fall and produced 5 assists, second-highest on the team 1.4 KPS, 14 total blocks, 1.9 DPS, and 14 service aces with an 87.4% serve efficiency. She will be stepping it up this fall and potentially becoming the top hitter for the squad.
Lexi Noelck (2023, S)
Noelck played in all 88 sets for the Trojans in the 2020 season and produced 1.9 APS, 3 kills, and 77 digs. Not too bad for her sophomore season and I would expect she will have even more production during her junior season with the graduation of Rasmussen, Atlantic’s prior primary setter.
Aubrey Guyer (2023, MH)
Guyer played in all 88 sets for the Trojans her sophomore year and contributed 4 assists, 1.1 KPS, and the second-highest on her team with 30 total blocks.
Also returning for the Trojans this fall will be Chloe Mullenix (2023, MH), Ava Rush (2023, DS), and Reagan Leonard (2022, RS). The Trojans lost a pretty good senior group and with only one junior on the returning team, most of their experienced returning players will be juniors this year. They have the building blocks they need to have a pretty solid team this year after having spent the seasons in between last season and this one continuing to grow and mature. Good Luck!
