Betts played in all 94 sets for the Crusaders in the 2020 season and produced 2 assists, 1.4 KPS(130), 4 total blocks, 71 digs, and 37 service aces with an 86.1% serve efficiency.
Cassidy Baker (S)
Baker played in 66 of the 94 sets for the Crusaders in the 2020 season and had a team-high 7.4 APS(491), 54 kills, 2 total blocks, 2.7 DPS(175), and a team-high 38 service aces with a 94.0% serve efficiency. She will be difficult for the Crusaders to replace in the 2021 season.
Alexa Culbertson (MH)
Culbertson played in 66 of 94 sets for the Crusaders and had 9 assists, a team-high 2.6 KPS(172), a team-high 29 total blocks, 25 digs, and 19 service aces with an 87.2% serve efficiency.
Also graduating for the Crusaders is Sammie Jackson (RS).
That is a lot of good things gone for the Crusaders in one graduation season. There are still 5 players returning that have around half the season worth of experience for the Crusaders so let’s see how they did last year and what they might do for the 2021 season.
RETURNING PLAYERS:
Mia Leighty (2022, MH)
Leighty played in 65 of 94 sets for the Crusaders in the 2020 season and had 4 assists, 1.0 KPS(62), 22 total blocks, 5 digs, and 7 service aces with an 88.2% serve efficiency.
Brynn Bass (2022, OH)
Bass played in 66 of 94 sets for the Crusaders and contributed 9 assists, 1.9 KPS(128), 3 total blocks, 2.2 DPS(146), and 35 service aces with a 93.7% serve efficiency. She looks like a strong player and I am sure the Crusaders are happy to have her return this year.
Gracy Johnson (2023, DS)
Johnson played in 66 of 94 sets for the Crusaders in the 2020 season and contributed 7 assists, 2.4 DPS(160), and 6 service aces with a 90.0% serve efficiency.
Lacie Davis (2023, DS)
Davis played in 66 sets for the Crusaders last season and had 3 assists, 1 kill, 2.0 DPS(134), and 8 service aces with an 87.6% serve efficiency.
Breely Clayburg (2024, MH)
Also returning for the Crusaders in the 2021 season will be Jessica Evans (2022, MH), Mallory Leighty (2022, RS), and Emma Jurgens (2022, MH).
The Crusaders lost a lot of seniors who had the majority of the production for them in 2020, but they have 8 players with varsity experience coming in this year who have patiently been waiting their turn and should have a very strong showing on the court in 2021.
