Much-improved seniors will make impacts for high school volleyball teams across Region 6 during the 2021 high school volleyball season.
Looking ahead, here are three versatile 2022 Region 6 players on the rise.
Kendyll Holmes is a senior outside hitter/setter for North Bullitt High School. Agile and athletic, Holmes possesses solid jumping ability. Reliable and productive in addition to being able to adjust to sets coming from any direction, Holmes can hit from both the front row and the back row.
Emily Huntsman is a senior setter/right side/outside hitter for Bullitt East High School. One of the most versatile players in Region 6, Huntsman has displayed the ability to deliver from various parts of the court. A productive passer, Huntsman can hit from either side of the net and reads the opponent’s defenses successfully.
Mary Schneidtmiller is a senior middle blocker/opposite for perennial Region title contender Mercy Academy. Providing a strong presence at the net, Schneidtmiller is a longtime contributor for one of the state’s top high school volleyball programs. A strong blocker, Schneidtmiller is a consistent hitter from the right side and digs for quick attacks routinely.
