Lauren Berger – 2023 | Nordonia
The 5’4 junior setter has done great work thus far in guiding her team’s offense. The Knights are currently 2-1 on the season earning consecutive wins after a season opening setback. Berger is averaging 11.1 assists per set and has her offense terminating at a .239 efficiency. For the season she has a total of 89 assists and is averaging five digs per match.

The 6’0 pin attacker had a terrific sophomore season in 2020 and has picked up right where she left off in leading her Wyoming squad on both sides of the ball. She has a dynamic style to her approach work and and can generate pace and big power off of her arm. She is averaging 5.1 kills per set hitting an impressive .326 for a pin attacker. Cordes, one of the top pin prospects in this class for Ohio, has 23 total digs over three sets.

Marchal sits atop two categories in the ECC through the first couple of contests. She has been effective for King’s in taking on an increased workload offensively. She is averaging 6.3 kills throughout seven sets with 44 total kills over two matches. Additionally, her presence has been felt on the defensive side as she has nine total blocks. At 6’0 she has good size and swings with an aggressive arm with versatility to score from the middle and at the pins.
Kaleigh Palmer – 2023 | Wapakoneta
Palmer will undoubtedly make an impact in our next 2023 rankings cycle as her impact this high school season has already been noticed. Learning more about her success during the club season it is no surprise this pin attacker has already asserted herself in leading her team offensively. Across nine sets of action she already has 59 total kills and is terminating 6.6 per frame. At 6’4, she is long and shows great mobility to get her feet to the ball and utilize her size and reach well at the end of her approach work.
