Continue ReadingWe are venturing all around the state to explore a few players we haven’t written about yet on our State Rankings List. These Oklahoma athletes have waited long enough to enjoy some recognition for being such great volleyball players. These young ladies are ready to take the court by storm now that high school volleyball is back on for a full season. They just finished their club seasons and we have some updates on how it went. We couldn’t be happier to give them kudos for their hard work as we announce their placement on the Prep Dig State Rankings List.
Landry Braziel Landry Braziel 6'0" | OH Community Christian | 2024 State OK [2024] 6-0 Outside (HS: Community Christian/Club: Oklahoma Charge/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Landry is currently ranked as our best overall and also best left side prospect in the 2024 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She is the go to hitter for Community Christian High School and plays for one of the best club programs in the state in Oklahoma Charge. She is so skilled right now that some have her as the best player in the state regardless of graduating class. That is not a stretch to say as she has some skills that not many have in their arsenal. The six foot tall pin attacker can fly and has power for days on the offensive end. She is a true six rotation left side who is getting a lot of attention from division one schools and still has a few years left in her high school career. Miss Braziel is part of the famed ten-foot club which means she can approach touch ten feet high. She has tasted winning already as her high school team won a state championship last year and I think its pretty safe to say that they will have a shot every year with Landry getting fed the ball for the next couple of years. Our readers will be getting to know this young lady quite well if we have anything to say about it. We are excited to have her in the Oklahoma Prep Dig State Rankings. Please congratulate her on achieving the recognition of being named the best player in her grad class due to her hard work.
Curry Kendall Curry Kendall 6'1" | OH Bishop Kelley | 2024 State OK [2024] 6-1 Outside (HS: Bishop Kelley/Club: Oklahoma Peak Performance/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Curry is currently ranked as our 2nd best overall and the 2nd best outside hitter prospect in the 2024 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays for Bishop Kelley High School and also club volleyball for the famous Oklahoma Peak Performance program. This young lady is a flat out beast on the court. Ever since she burst onto the high school scene as a freshman starting on varsity, she has stepped up to the plate and hit some home runs for Bishop Kelley. As a freshman last year, she tallied 334 kills on a .215 hitting percentage. She has a chance to rewrite the record books by the time she is done with her high school career. College coaches I have spoken with love her size and strength. They think she has a very high ceiling to keep improving and is nowhere near reaching her potential. Stay tuned to see more from Miss Kendall as we continue our coverage of her career. We are proud to have her in the Rankings and look forward to covering her. Please help us congratulate her on being one of the top players in the State of Oklahoma.
Bailey Lowder Bailey Lowder 5'11" | OH MacArthur | 2024 State OK [2024] 5-10 Left Side (HS: MacArthur/Club: Oklahoma Charge/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Bailey is currently ranked as our 5th best overall and 3rd best outside hitter prospect in the 2024 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays for MacArthur High School and also club for Oklahoma Charge. When this young lady is able to see the block in front of her she has a great ability to turn on the ball and go straight down the line with tons of power. She has a lot of potential to get even better but we like what we see so far. Miss Lowder can score with off speed shots, tools off of the blockers hands or thread the seam with a hard driven attack. She is a very integral part of what is considered the best 5A team in Oklahoma right now. They have a legit shot at running the table for the rest of the year and Bailey’s skill-set is part of the reason why. We are excited to have her in our Prep Dig Family and look forward to watching her sophomore season. Please help us congratulate her on the honor she just earned.
