Adkins terminated 24 kills in Mercy’s recent five-set win over Turpin to advance in postseason action. She saw 50 swings with nine errors to earn a .300 efficiency. She also reached double figure digs with 13 to contribute well in multiple phases of the match. Adkins has steadily continued to show her value as a left side arm as she has length and contact point ability that is high and capable of challenging the defense at the net very well. She has led the Wolves’ offense all season with an average of four kills per set as they are 13-10 overall after battling through the highly competitive GGCL.
Paige Garren – 2022 | Strasburg-Franklin
The Tigers are 16-7 overall and recently earned a tough 3-2 win over Caldwell to advance in the postseason. Garren led the offense with 17 kills, averaging 3.4 per set along the way. She also picked up 21 digs and delivered four service aces for a robust stat line. The 5’10 outside hitter is a previous District 5 all-star honoree and been providing big production for her team all season in averaging 2.9 kills per set and 12 digs per match. She had a season high 28 kills in a five-set win earlier in the season.
Torre Kildow – 2023 | Union Local
The Jets won a hotly contested five-set match over Ridgewood on Saturday, including multiple sets going extra points. Kildow was the superstar of the match as she terminated 38 kills on a whopping 102 attempts for a .314 efficiency. The junior has had an incredible career thus far as she has amassed over 1,100 kills. She continues to have great success through her arm as she is averaging over six kills per set while hitting .385 with a 46% kill percentage. She was a 2020 Division III All-Ohio third-team selection.

Massey had a big match offensively for the Tigers in the recent 3-1 win over Oletangy Berlin. She averaged 4.5 kills per set on her way to 18 total kills to compliment her 17 digs on the defensive side. Pickerington Central is 18-5 overall and went unbeaten in conference play in the Ohio Capital-Buckeye at 10-0. Massey, just a sophomore, is also an avid sand competitor. She has averaged over four kills per set this season while hitting .280 while taking over two times as many swings as any other attacker on the team.
