This group just wrapped up their sophomore seasons on the high school side and is looking to carry some momentum into the upcoming club campaign. The Top 250 Expo was a great chance to do exactly that.
So, here’s a handful of 2024s that raised their stock in Iowa.
Brittany Bacorn Brittany Bacorn 5'10" | S Knoxville | 2024 State IA – 5’9 S – Knoxville
Last weekend was not the first time that Bacorn has stood out at our Prep Dig events. The Knoxville setter looked very comfortable in the Ignit gym, and that will continue to be the case as she competes in club.
Aliya Ballard – 5’4 DS/L – Xavier
We had plenty of Iowa’s powerhouse high school programs represented at this event, and this Xavier product is certainly another 2024 to follow. Ballard had a good showing in serve-pass drills and will have ample opportunities to put her skills on display during her prep career.
Maeve Rehmann Maeve Rehmann 6'2" | MB Johnston | 2024 State IA – 6’2 MB – Johnston
Here’s another Ignit athlete that made the trip to Grimes. We’re glad she did, too, because Rehmann was one of the most fluid middle blockers in the gym last weekend. She uses her length well and has a strong arm swing to put the ball to the floor. Watch out for Rehmann in the early months of this year’s club season.
Molly Romano Molly Romano 5'10" | S Council Bluffs Abe Lincoln | 2024 State IA – 5’9 S – Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln
Romano is coming off a breakthrough sophomore campaign for Abe Lincoln and continues to be an eye-catching fixture at our Prep Dig events. She is so skilled at mixing tempos and was one of the most deceptive setters at the event in team drills. The accolades should keep rolling in for Romano.
Always great to see Council Bluffs Abe Lincoln setter Molly Romano Molly Romano 5'10" | S Council Bluffs Abe Lincoln | 2024 State IA . Connects with hitters so well.

Olivia Seemann – 5’8 DS/L – Des Moines Roosevelt
Let’s give a shoutout to yet another player who has been a regular standout at our events. Seemann is bound to produce plenty of highlight moments over her career with Des Moines Roosevelt, and her development is only just beginning.
Xada Johnson – 6’0 OH – Clear Lake
Johnson is an exciting prospect who already has the length and physicality to compete with players above her own age group. She demonstrated the ability to hit a variety of sets and shots along the net, and her range will continue to expand in the years to come.
Layla Streeter – 5’10 MB – Durant
You could make an argument that the middle blocker position had the greatest volume of standouts at this event. Streeter was yet another athlete that stood out among that group of talented 2024s.
