With this event in it’s third year running, Prep Dig has split this into two weekends with 13s and 14s playing January 15-16 and the 15s-18s going January 22-23. There will be a solid group of 17s and 18s with 21 teams and many available prospects who will be looking to play at the next level. Here are some 2023’s to keep an eye on Resolution weekend!
Sophia Schneider Sophia Schneider 5'10" | S Waterloo | 2023 State WI – FC Elite 17 White
Schneider has been on the radar for a while and has plenty of options at the next level. She’s a three sport athlete at Waterloo, and she can set and swing on the pin. With her big game experience in multiple sports, she’s the teammate you want to have at the next level. She can step in and play whatever role is needed which is always an added bonus. She will be a big time leader for this FC Elite 17 White squad who will surprise a lot of teams this season.
Molly Rohde Molly Rohde 5'11" | MB Hortonville | 2023 State WI – FC Elite 17 Navy
Extremely explosive. Rohde is a middle blocker who has a major presence on the net. She has progressively improved each season and this upcoming season could be her biggest one yet, establishing a strong connection with setter, Rachel Koss Rachel Koss 5'11" | S Freedom | 2023 State WI . Rohde has the jumping ability and strength and being able to expand her game running a variety of tempos will make her very dangerous.
Alivia Jeanquart Alivia Jeanquart 5'7" | S Notre Dame Academy | 2023 State WI – Impact 17 National
Jeanquart and the Impact 17 National team have a strong core group who have been playing together the past few years. She will have middle, Marissa Corso Marissa Corso MB Neenah | 2023 State WI and outside and middle from Fox Valley Lutheran, Samantha Kempinger Samantha Kempinger 5'10" | OH Fox Valley Lutheran | 2023 State WI and Kate Hense. Myakel Kapalko Myakel Kapalko 6'0" | OH Notre Dame | 2023 State WI will be a solid combo player who can play a variety of positions for this team as well. Jeanquart is extremely savvy and knows how to read the other side of the net to get her attackers in the best situation to score points. When the opportunity presents itself, she can be offensive as well.
Kyleigh Coghlan Kyleigh Coghlan 5'6" | DS/L Kettle Moraine | 2023 State WI – Milwaukee Sting 17 White
Coghlan has been on the radar for a while and will be a big time leader for the Milwaukee Sting 17 White squad. She’s has cemented herself as a top libero in one of the toughest conferences in the state, playing for Kettle Moraine who were in the final four of D1 this past season. This 17 White team has a lot of strong athletes and will be contenders in a lot of the tournaments they compete in.
Brielle Wrench – Milwaukee Sting 17 White
A really strong, physical middle, Wrench will be one who can make her presence known offensively and defensively at the net. She will be looking to connect with her two setters, Hannah Trotter Hannah Trotter 5'10" | S Wisconsin Lutheran | 2023 State WI of Wisconsin Lutheran and Payton Roets Payton Roets 5'11" | S Watertown | 2023 State WI of Watertown. Another big pick up for Sting 17 White is Ella Kern Ella Kern 5'8" | OH New Berlin West | 2023 State WI , a really athletic outside who had a big year for New Berlin West.
Emily Brenner Emily Brenner 5'10" | OH Stanley-Boyd | 2023 State WI – Wisconsin Ice 17 National
Brenner was a standout at our Wisconsin Top 250 and showed that she will be a 2023 prospect to watch playing for Wisconsin Ice . This past high school season, Brenner was a D3 1st Team All State pick for Stanley-Boyd where she had 466 kills and over 300 digs. She will definitely be on the rise in 2022.
Samantha Perlberg Samantha Perlberg 5'10" | OH Chippewa Falls | 2023 State WI – Wisconsin Ice 17 National
Perlberg is going to be a huge pick up at the next level as a six rotation outside hitter. She led Chippewa Falls to a historic season which ended in a five set sectional final loss to River Falls. Perlberg was named to the D1 All State team where she had nearly 3.5 kills and digs per set. She can attack out of the backrow and with her athleticism, her ceiling is extremely high at the next level.
Lilly Bandle Lilly Bandle 6'1" | MB West Bend East | 2023 State WI – I AM VBC 17 Red
Bandle makes her presence known out of the middle. A physical attacker and blocker, Bandle is known to bring the energy and intensity that her team needs. She was one of the top performers at the Wisconsin Top 250 and is a next level player who will bring a lot of strength and an aggressive style. I AM VBC finished 2021 with a lot of momentum and a few key pickups to this 17 squad will make them one to contend with.
Evinae Jordee Evinae Jordee 5'9" | S Middleton | 2023 State WI – Capital Volleyball Academy
Jordee can do a lot of positive things for her team. She is a left handed setter who can put the ball where her team needs it to be, but can also take a swing as well. She’s crafty, solid in all rotations, and is very dynamic with her skill set. The Capital 17s are a deep class and will look to build off that momentum
Annika Nielsen – RVA 17 Navy
Nielsen is a setter who can get her hands to the ball and her offense in system. The Arrowhead High School prep will lead a really scrapy and defensively sound club with the RVA 17 Navy squad that also includes Bella Peterson and Claire Nesemann. This 17s and 18s Division has teams coming from all corners of the state with RVA being out of the Waukesha area.
