It was two hours of crazy intense volleyball from athletes primarily in the 2025 and 2026 classes. It was awesome to see athletes from all over on the court together playing at such a high level.
Here are some athletes who made me go WOW at the Prep Dig x USAV showcase!
Aubrey Lyssy Aubrey Lyssy 5'10" | S Madison | 2025 TX – Setter – San Antonio Magic 15 Elite – 2025
Aubrey impressed me from the start. She has great ball control, gets to the ball very fast, and runs the court well. She didn’t ever hesitate or seem to lose sight of the drills. She gave full effort on every single ball and really stood out in the scrimmage play.
Ceci Vance – Outside Hitter – Albuquerque Rebels 15N1 – 2025
Ceci was explosive and powerful at the net. She took a massive approach and put a ton of power on the ball. She could deliver shots with huge power across the court. Ceci also impressed in defense and serve receive. She transitioned well out of defense and brought a lot of power to the court.
Bella Bonnano – Libero – Ozark Juniors 15 Elite – 2025
Bella was controlled, scrappy, and had crazy good court awareness. She made tough balls look easy and got touches on even the crazy impossible balls. Her quick decision-making skills and solid volleyball foundation made her impressive from start to finish.
Sophie Bridges Sophie Bridges 5'8" | DS/L Prosper | 2025 State TX – Libero – Flyers 15.1 APX Ed – 2025
Sophie was crazy scrappy on the court. She was fast, covered very well, and was ready for any ball to come over the net. She initially caught my eye with her clean lines and quick reaction on serve receive. She also has a very competitive serve that is well-placed and powerful.
Gracie Furlong – Outside Hitter – SixPack 16U 2025
Gracie was an offensive stud. She flies high and goes big on her swings. Her transition from pass to attack is fast and precise, setting her up for huge success on offense. She was a solid defender as well and will be a fun athlete to watch develop on the court!
Victoria Otter – Middle – Ozark Juniors – 2025
Victoria actually caught my ears before she caught my eye. I could hear an athlete with huge talk and narration of the game to help her teammates. It was so impressive. Then I watched her play and was even more impressed. She puts up a huge block and has a really solid and powerful swing.
