This featured the best of the best players in the entire country and we were very excited to run it. Over the past 4 years, Prep Dig showcases have hosted over 2,500 prospects in front of hundreds of college coaches from across the country. In addition to watching the showcase in-person or via BallerTV, coverage of this event will be made available to hundreds of our college coach subscribers on PrepDig.com.
We will be discussing some players who stood out as Top Performers at the USA Girls Junior National Championship Pre-Tournament Showcase. This next article is devoted to the floor generals who were keeping the courts in play with their amazing rally saving dives and superb ball control. These young ladies stood out for a multitude of reasons like, physical skill-sets, communication, pursuit of the ball, technique, and/or teamwork. Let’s meet a few of them.
Anna Arceneaux Anna Arceneaux 5'6" | DS/L Antonian College Preparatory | 2025 State TX [2025] 5-6 Libero (Club: San Antonio Juniors /Verbal: Uncommitted)
I was super excited to see how Miss Arceneaux would fare against some great competition from all over the country. She was on every single court coach’s list for stand out players. We have only had a few unanimously selected players for these honors and Anna was one of them for this event. She just exudes every intangible that you want in a liibero. Her defensive tenacity is second to none and the ball rebounds so well off of her arms in serve receive. Her fundamentals in the libero position are beautiful to watch for a volleyball enthusiast. Some people were born to do things and I firmly believe she was born to be a libero when I watch her play.
Giada Obregon Giada Obregon 5'3" | DS/L Floresville | 2025 TX [2025] 5-3 Libero (Club: South Texas Volleyball Academy/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Giada impressed all of us with her pace on the court. She was super quick and relentless in her pursuit of the ball in both position drills and team play. Many coaches came up to me to report about her being a fireball of energy and lighting it up on the court. She was fun to watch and I like how much potential she has in the position. She is definitely one reason why her club team has done so well this year based off of what she produced at the showcase.
Madelyn Wolfram [2025] 5-5 Libero (Club: FC Elite/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Some players shy away from the limelight and pressure situations, but not Miss Wolfram. She chose to shine very bright amongst a gym full of stars. We were all very impressed with her ball control both defensively and in serve receive. Maddie always seems to be in the right place at the right time and racks up digs in bunches when needed. She keeps her feet and motor running until the point of contact. I really loved how she was able to execute emergency digging skills also. She has amazing vision on the court to set up in the right spot also. She has a very bright future as a libero.
Other standout liberos that were noted by the court coaches were: Kalison Beigh, Maia Sidhu, Sophie Bridges Sophie Bridges 5'8" | DS/L Prosper | 2025 State TX , Kellan Flynn, and Addi Reus.
