Here are some athletes in the class of 2026 who impacted the Varsity and JV Sizzle.
Varsity Sizzle
Gracie Fregien – Libero/DS – Waukesha West
Gracie will be an athlete to watch in this incoming freshman class. She has a high volleyball IQ and great fundamentals. Gracie brings a lot of energy and consistency to the court. She impressed every time she was in a game at the Sizzle.
Mia Hudson – Outside Hitter – Pewaukee
Mia is currently competing with the Badger High-Performance Team. She is a powerful pin with the capacity to play all six rotations. Mia can execute on either pin and adds a lot of value to the court.
Mia Jannazzo – Outside Hitter – Waukesha West
Mia is a smart and savvy pin hitter. She earns kills both by placing the ball in smart spots and putting some heat on her swings. She excels on defense and rarely makes errors. Mia has a good vertical and high-level ball control.
Ruby Friess – Setter – Waukesha West
Ruby is clean and crisp as a setter. She places the ball well and is very fundamentally sound. Ruby also has a highly competitive serve and great ball control. She is solid in all of her skills and picks up a lot of balls on defense as well.
Zoe Wockenfus – Outside Hitter – Appleton East
Zoe really impressed me at the Sizzle. She was impactful in all six rotations and even took a turn at setting in the JV Sizzle. She played all three days of the tournament, had great endurance, and rarely made errors. She excelled in serve receive and defense and manufactured points in the front and back row.
Hannah Padilla – Setter – Pewaukee
Hannah is another talented athlete in this class of 2026. She has nice hands and moves the ball around well. She utilizes every hitter on the court and has a lot of potential to do big things in this program.
JV Sizzle
Kailani Baldwin – Libero – Westosha Central
Kailani was a Top Performer at the JV Sizzle, and for good reason. Not only is she a talented volleyball player, but she was also confident and a leader on the court. She has a great platform and solid angles to the ball. Keep her on your radar!
Abby Winner – Setter – Westosha Central
Abby caught my eye early on at the JV Sizzle. She has very clean form and good court awareness. As she continues to develop, her impact on this program will only grow!
Hailey Flairty – Libero – Hartford
Hailey has great instincts and gets a lot of touches on the ball. She is fearless in the backcourt and has huge potential to be a high-level libero. Hailey is gritty and scrappy and will go for anything.
Tenly Keuhn – Outside Hitter – Preble
Tenly has a ton of power and is great in transition. She executed well in every rotation and put up some pretty impressive kills. She is explosive in every aspect of her play, from her approach to her arm swing.
Julia Piper – Setter – Pewaukee
Julia is a setter to watch. She has solid talent, but she really impressed me with how much she learned and improved at the Sizzle. She clearly works hard and learns from every point she plays.
Kylie Eske – Libero – Pewaukee
Kylie is a natural libero on the court. She reads opponents very well and is always ready to pick up a ball or cover. She was a leader on the court and very positive throughout the day. Her volleyball was great, and her leadership and positivity were highly impactful.
Rayna Nelson – Pin Hitter – Hortonville
Rayna is another powerful and well-rounded pin, even at such a young age. She has an awesome swing and explosive approach. Rayna has a high contact point that helps her place the ball.
